We combine what’s in season with the best of local Dorset produce to create a seasonal menu with daily specials. Our food is influenced by our time in Asia and Australia and, in the warmer months, we cook over fire where possible using our wood fired smoker, pizza oven and giant fire pit.

We offer smaller portions of many of our mains as well as a dedicated kid’s menu

WELCOME TO OUR BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY INN

Being nestled at the base of Eggardon Hill and only a five minute drive from the market town of Bridport we are surrounded by glorious countryside and a wealth of iconic walks and hikes. The Jurassic coast is only a ten minute drive with easy access to the national trust managed Hive Beach and all the attractions of West Bay.

The Spyway stands in extensive gardens with a meandering stream and idyllic rural views - perfect for a bite to eat and a refreshing drink. Throughout spring and summer we run ‘Spyway Sundowner’ sessions offering live music from local artists in the garden every Saturday evening. During the winter months the log fires burn throughout and hearty homecooked meals are accompanied by locals ales, ciders and wines.
